What happens next
- 1. We read your enquiry properly. Every message comes straight to Azim and Lauren — there is no call centre and no automated triage. We look at the make and model you have mentioned, the fault you have described and where you are, so the call back is useful rather than a fact-finding exercise.
- 2. You get a call back. We aim to respond during working hours, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. If you sent your enquiry over a weekend or in the evening, you will normally hear from us on the next working day. If the phone goes unanswered it is because we are on a job with the gas switched off — leave a voicemail or text and we will come back to you.
- 3. We diagnose before we quote. For repairs and fault finding we attend, test and identify the actual cause rather than guessing at parts. For installations and bathrooms we survey first so the price reflects your property, not a template.
- 4. The price goes in writing. You receive a clear, fixed-price quote before any work starts. Nothing is ordered, stripped down or fitted until you have agreed it.
- 5. Certificates and handover. Gas work is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer (registration 556262), unvented cylinder work is G3 certified, and all relevant certificates and Building Notifications are issued on completion, along with a workmanship guarantee.
If you smell gas
Do not wait for us to call back. Turn the gas off at the meter, open windows and doors, avoid switches and naked flames, and ring the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 straight away. They operate 24 hours a day. Once the supply has been made safe, we can take over the repair and get your heating and hot water working again.
Water leaking now
Find your internal stop tap — usually under the kitchen sink — and turn it clockwise to shut the supply off. Open the cold taps to drain the pipework, and switch off any immersion heater or electric shower on the affected circuit. Put a bucket underneath, take a photo of the leak if it is safe to do so, and send it over when we ring; it often saves a visit's worth of guesswork.
