Terms & Conditions

"We", "us", "our" refers to A T Plumbing & Heating (Lincs) Limited (company number 11810388), registered office 17 High Burgage, Winteringham, DN15 9NE, United Kingdom. "You" refers to the customer commissioning works. "Services" means any plumbing, heating or gas work we agree to perform.

Free written quotes are typically issued within 24–48 hours and are valid for 30 days. Verbal estimates given by phone are indicative only and subject to on-site confirmation. Where the job is too complex to quote upfront (for example some fault-finding work), our diagnostic rate is £60 + VAT for the first hour and £50 + VAT per hour thereafter. Where unforeseen conditions are discovered (e.g. hidden leaks, sludged systems, asbestos), we will pause work and re-quote in writing before continuing.

Domestic invoices are payable on completion. Accepted payment methods are debit/credit card, cash, bank transfer, and cheque (for amounts under £500). Commercial invoices are payable within 14 days unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion. Where we install an Ideal, Baxi or Worcester boiler, a 10-year parts & labour manufacturer warranty is available subject to the product fitted and successful registration with the manufacturer. Manufacturer warranties for parts we have not supplied are handled directly with the manufacturer; we will assist with claims where possible. The workmanship guarantee excludes damage caused by misuse, third-party modifications, freezing, or limescale where we have advised treatment that was not installed.

You may cancel a booked appointment without charge up to 24 hours before the agreed start time. A booked visit is non-cancellable once an engineer has been dispatched on the day.

We carry £1,000,000 public liability insurance and employers' liability insurance. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law (e.g. death or personal injury caused by negligence).

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales and any disputes will be heard in the English courts.
