How much does a new boiler cost in Scunthorpe?
A like-for-like Worcester or Ideal combi swap is quoted as a fixed, written price covering the boiler, fitting, flush and commissioning. Full system changes and back-boiler removal are also quoted as a fixed, written price. Every quote is fixed in writing — you'll never see an invoice higher than the quote you signed.
How long does a boiler install take?
A straight like-for-like combi swap is a one-day job. A boiler relocation, conversion from a system to a combi, or a back-boiler removal is typically 2–3 days. We confirm timing in writing before the install date.
Do I get a Building Notification?
Yes. Every gas boiler install in England is notifiable under Part L of the Building Regulations. We notify Gas Safe within 30 days and the Building Notification certificate is posted to you — you'll need it when you sell.
How long is the warranty?
Up to 10 years parts & labour on qualifying Ideal, Baxi and Worcester boilers — subject to the product fitted and successful registration with the manufacturer on commissioning day. Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months on every install.
How quickly can you fit a new boiler?
If your boiler has failed and you're without heat or hot water, we will attend Mon–Fri 8am–5pm to diagnose and quote. A stock combi can often be installed within 24–48 hours of you accepting the quote.
What if my gas supply is too small?
An older 15mm gas supply often won't carry a modern 30kW+ combi. We measure the working pressure and standing pressure on every survey — if an upgrade to 22mm is needed, it's quoted in writing and included in the fixed price.
Will you take the old boiler away?
Yes. Old boiler, packaging and any redundant pipework removed and disposed of properly. The install area is left swept, wiped down and ready to use.
Do you cover Hull, Grimsby and Doncaster?
Yes. We install across Hull, Grimsby, Doncaster and the wider Humber region weekly. Same fixed pricing as our North Lincs work.
